EATR (Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot) is able to feed on gasoline, diesel, coal and biomass. It is designed to carry heavy loads and can transport for exemple fuel and weapons to places inaccessible to human beings. Scientists of the University of Washington in Seattle are on their way inventing special contact lenses that are able to show pictures and information floating in the carriers field of view. They work with a small display consisting of light emitting diodes integrated in them. These diodes receive their electricity out of an integrated loop antenna. It forces an artificial wind up through its handle that shoots out the top and deflects incoming raindrops before they can hit your head or your body.

With 27 billion USD the Project "Solaris Key Metrics" is meant to megasize solar-farms in deserts an many other parts of the earth. Planned are around 500 square kilometres plus. Interesting about that is, that with a budget of 27 billion USD only 15 million households can be supplied. That are 1800 USD investment per household.
Mit rund 27 Billionen USD soll das Projekt "Solaris Key Metrics" Solar Farmen in Wüsten und weiteren Teilen der Erde vergrößern. Geplant sind dabei knapp 500 Quadratkilometer Erweiterung. Interessant ist, dass mit einem solch enorm hohen Budget nur 15 Millionen Haushalte mehr mit grüner Energie versorgt werden können. Hochgerechnet sind das ca. 1800 USD Investition pro Haushalt.

The future will bring us airplanes that have standing room instead of seats. Surely only for short flights. The interesting thing is, that in these airplanes people will have to pay for their volume, not anymore per capita. So fat people will have to pay more than thin people.

Working together with Europe, the Netherlands have startet a scientific project, that brings 50 to 100 volunteers to the planet Mars. They will stay there for the rest of their lives and will never come back to earth. The project will begin in 2027.
